ART PROGRAM
At Westerhoff, we believe in nurturing creativity through a well-rounded Art Program that introduces students to drawing, painting, and three-dimensional work across various media. Small class sizes allow for individual attention, helping students build technique while developing their own unique artistic voice. Classes also include art appreciation and an introduction to art history, helping students connect their own creative process with the broader world of art. Learn about our teachers here.
All classes follow a semester structure, offered in both fall and spring, with week long art camps available in the summer. Each semester culminates in an art exhibition in our school's own gallery, where students proudly showcase their work to family, friends, and the community—celebrating their creativity and growth.
Students can join at any time during the semester and start with a FREE introductory class before enrolling.
"My 7-year-old daughter absolutely loves attending Westerhoff School of Music &Art! From the moment we walked through the doors, we were impressed by the warm and inviting atmosphere. Her art teacher, Mrs. Preeti is truly fantastic—patient, creative, and incredibly skilled at engaging young minds. It’s amazing to see how much my daughter has grown as an artist in such a short time. I highly recommend the Westerhoff School of Music & Art to any parent looking for a nurturing and inspiring environment for their child." - Anna O.
