ONE-ON-ONE INSTRUMENTAL INSTRUCTION in piano, guitar (acoustic and electric), violin, viola, cello, clarinet, saxophone, drums, and flute. Lessons are offered in 30, 45 or 60 minute increments on Monday through Saturday.
VOCAL PROGRAM: Includes both individual and group singing lessons and performances. Styles include classical, Broadway and pop, with focus on vocal technique and development.
MUSIC THEORY: Students study the language of music from the basic fundamentals to much more advanced compositional elements and practices, all while reinforcing music reading, rhythm, and aural skills. Classes will also prepare students for ABRSM theory exams.
CHAMBER ENSEMBLES: Include duets, trios, quartets - that work together with instructors toward performance or for the sheer enjoyment of making music together.
RECITALS: At the end of each semester, all students have the opportunity to perform to further develop musicianship in front of larger groups of people. All recitals are free and open to the public.
AUDITIONS & COMPETITIONS: Students have the opportunity to participate in judged auditions and performances, both competitive and non-competitive, on state and national levels.
