Instruction will be given at the onset of each session, followed by lots of encouragement for the students to play and learn together in a supportive and nurturing environment. 

Basic supplies are included, but there will be a small list of materials to purchase announced each week. Let your imaginations Run Wild!

Note: There will be be weekly Poetry Explorations along with the art.

April 14 Mixed Media—collage, pen & ink, watercolor, fabric—Theme: Woman and Nature
April 21 Acrylic Paint—layered acrylic paintings inspired by Robert Kushner
April 28 Paper cutting or Scherenschnit (German) Design making with cutouts from paper
May 5 Gouache over acrylic—Seascapes and landscapes
May 12 Dolls made from mixed media—branches, fabric, painted papers —Let’s Play!
May 26 Charcoal and watercolor—Theme: Portrait of woman or of an animal of choice
