Please review the class details below before filling out the registration form at the bottom of this page. All art classes are taught by Preeti Singh.
Ages 6 to 8:
This course will focus on drawing, with the goal of nurturing a love for art making. We will introduce our youngest artists to techniques for drawing and self expression, as they become familiar with different materials and media. Students will learn important art terms, and discover contemporary and historical artists. All materials will be provided.
*Cost: $30.00 per class
Wednesdays, 4:30 to 5:30 P.M.
Thursdays, 4:30 to 5:30 P.M.
Saturdays 9:30 to 10:30 A.M.
Ages 9 to 13:
This course will focus on observational drawing and painting from life using a variety of materials and media. Alongside our observational work, we will explore alternative ways of inventing and constructing compositions with an emphasis on personal expression. Students will look at and discuss works by contemporary artists and from art history. All materials will be provided.
*Cost: $30.00 per class
Mondays, 4:30 to 5:30 P.M.
Wednesdays 5:40 to 6:40 P.M.
Thursdays 5:40 to 6:40 P.M.
Saturdays 10:40 to 11:40 A.M.
Ages 12+
Drawing, Painting, and Sculpture: This class will focus on and develop skills and concepts as in the 9-13 class, with additional time for exploring a wide variety of media and projects and working on portfolio development and independent projects. All materials will be provided.
*Cost: $45.00 per class
Mondays, 5:40-7:10 P. M.
IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT TUITION: You will be charged for the full semester. You will receive an invoice by email with instructions for online or in-person payment options with monthly payment plans. Classes begin the week of January 31st and run for 18 weeks (Saturday classes are 17 weeks this semester). Classes are prorated for registrations after the start of each semester (space permitting) based on the date of the first class and will be charged according to the remaining number of classes/weeks in the semester.
*A registration fee of $29 will be added for each art student registered, which includes all materials and supplies.
