Music at Westerhoff
Westerhoff School offers music instruction in piano, guitar, violin, viola, cello, clarinet, saxophone, flute, drums and voice. We offer chamber ensembles, group singing, and music theory classes. Our music students have the opportunity to participate in auditions, competitions and the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) program of study. Read about our teachers.
One-on-One InstrumentalInstruction in piano, guitar (acoustic and electric), violin, viola, cello, clarinet, saxophone, drums and flute. Lessons are offered in 30, 45 or 60 minute increments on Monday through Saturday.

Chamber EnsemblesWe offer chamber ensembles - duets, trios, quartets - that work together with instructors toward performance or for the sheer enjoyment of making music together.

Music TheoryMusic theory study adds greatly to the overall understanding of music. Students study
the language of music from the basic fundamentals to more advanced compositional elements and practices, all while reinforcing music reading, rhythm, and aural skills. Classes will also prepare students for ABRSM theory exams. |
