Jonathan Skobel is a New Jersey based woodwind specialist with a wide range of musical skills and interests. He performs in a multitude of settings such as classical orchestras, musical theatre pits, cabaret stage bands, wind ensembles, and choral ensembles. Jonathan holds a Masters of Music in Woodwind Doubling from New Jersey City University where he studied with some of Broadway’s most prominent doublers, such as Julie Pacheco and Dave Noland. As an undergraduate, he attended The Peabody Conservatory of Johns Hopkins University where he majored in both Music Education and Saxophone Performance. There, he studied with renowned saxophonist Gary Louie.
